Hi readers! If you don't know by now, my name is Elliot Teichman and I am the author of this website. I was born in Edison, New Jersey, but barely stayed their as my family moved down the Baltimore, Maryland about four months later. Growing up in the 90's the hip thing in school was to be an Oriole fan because believe it or not back then they were actually a good team. But I'm an odd kid so why would I like the Orioles? My entire family were Mets fans and on both sides of the family, I came from a long line of National League fans in New York. My Mom's side of the family lived in Brooklyn for a while, but they were Giant fans. My Dad's side of the family lived in the Bronx, but they were Dodger fans. (This theme would later just dominate my life). Anyway after the teams came out west and the Mets were born to fill that NL void, that is where the Mets lineage picked up. The Mets are a big part of my life and I feel very lucky that I have the opportunity to write about the Mets.

Other non-Mets related things about me include that I am a student right now in the University of Maryland, College Park and am currently and Astronomy (and Physics) major (which is one poor explanation for the amount of spelling and grammar mistakes that can be found on this website).
